6th Annual LRT "Santas Against Excessive Consumption", Saturday the 18th December

Crass Xmas commercialisation - aren'tcha just sickovit?

Well, here's the antidote: a Christmas fluffy-ish singing action - brave entrepid counterculture guerrilla warriors don Santa Suits, sing anti-consumerist and anti-capitalist Xmas carols and leaflet for more mindful attention to love, gifts, and climate change - in Oxford Street, the heart of the shopping district, on one of the busiest shopping days of the year!

Are you up for renegade Santaring? If you don't have a Santa kit then we'll bring some spares for you together with songsheets but it would be great if you could come to the Santas Practice on Thursday 16th (but if you can’t no problem just come along on the day). Practice - LARC, 62 Fieldgate St, Thurs 16th, 7.30 – 9pm.

Then, we meet on Saturday 18th December

Under the awning of the Dominion Theatre, at 1pm (Tottenham Court Road Tube Station). From there we shall make our way West.

Our on the day tel number 07858 177178.

Bring your voice and anything else useful like Reindeers, elves, etc.

See you there and expect to make an idiot of yourself in the name of freedom!

...and afterwards, we'll be heading on to the London Action Resource Centre's Solstice Party in Whitechapel.
