Welcome to the new Rising Tide UK website! It's long overdue, but we've finally overhauled the way this site works, so any group in the Rising Tide UK network can post news and updates, a bit like how Indymedia works. Although it looks similar to the old site, a lot has changed behind the scenes, including a focus on web standards to make the site more accessible. Hopefully this means loads more up to date, exciting info on climate action that's going on around the UK. It definitely means some less stressed webby volunteers.
It's going to take some time for us to move all of the old bits of the site over to the new system - you can still get at anything that was here before, but you might notice a few glitches here and there. Please bear with us.
Do let us know if there are any big problems, things not working, or fantastic ideas you have for what we could have done better, and finally, all Rising Tide people please get in touch if you want an account to post news updates. This site can hopefully be much more of a collaborative effort from now on :-)
