Bath Climate Camp to raise pipeline pressure - come on down!

Bath Climate camp will be running from Thursday 19th of April until Sunday the 22nd. The camp will be running by late afternnon, but please get in touch if you want to help set up. There will be two actions plus a load of interactive workshops, a vegan kitchen and a kids activity zone run by experienced childcarers. The demos will be -

*Friday 20th April - All Day - Shut down Land and Marine! Land and Marine are the company building phase one of the Welsh pipeline (they also have a small hand in phase two). The pipeline is hugely dangerous to locals, the environment and natural beauty spots such as the Brecon Beacons. For more on the pipeline, see Bristol Rising Tide. Resistance to the pipeline has been strong, so we want to take the fight to Land and Marine's doorstep! All participation is welcome wether you want to blockade, party, leaflet, occupy or make music.

*Saturday 21st April - Party Against Petrol - 11 at Bath Climate Camp or 12 at Bath Abbey. A colourful, noisy party against car culture and fossil fuels, there are no set plans for a route or what will happen, so bring noise makers, carnival props, banners and your imagination!
