Rising Tide NA, with a lot of support from other groups, have just set up a new website with information from the grassroots, for the grassroots radical and progressive response to Hurricane Gustav and those that have followed. They are currently receiving and collating information from a dozen or so groups in the area.

On the Friday of the Camp for Climate Action, four intrepid Rising Tiders left the site to bring the battle over a new power station at Kingsnorth to the doorstep of the Royal Bank of Scotland, which is one of E.ON's biggest financial backers, and to highlight the links between the financial sector, the fossil fuel industry, and disastrous climate change.
Two people superglued themselves to the front doors of the Royal Bank of Scotland’s Oil and Gas Division in Central London, while others wielded a banner reading “RBS: Cashing In On Coal”.
Rising Tiders across the country are decamping en masse to the Camp for Climate Action, and we can't wait! The three activists arrested following the invasion of Wunderman’s
offices have had all charges against them dropped.
The environmentalists, from direct action group London Rising Tide,
had been charged with "burglary of pens, paper and phone calls".
They were held after staging a four-hour sit-in over two of parent
agency Y&R’s key clients – Land Rover and BAE Systems.
The action was part of a worldwide campaign against climate change,
dubbed Fossil Fools Day. In the UK, the group also staged
demonstrations outside Porsche dealerships, the head office of E-on,
and a coal mine in Wales.

CLEANING COMPANY TARGET E.ON ON NATIONAL DAY OF ACTION
At 07.45 this morning E.ON offices on Pall Mall were targeted by the new
upstart Coal Cleaning Company as part of a nationally co-ordinated Day of Climate Action against False Capitalist Solutions.
The Coal Cleaning Company launched their enterprise with E.ON as their
first customer. According to the chatty cleaners, “There’s no mess too
big! We make coal Fossil Fuel Fresh ™”.
